Grabs specially designed for pressing the rubber joint of the segments.
The structure consists of pneumatic cylinders that press the four sides of a segment together. The grab is designed to adapt to all segments of the ring. There are selectors on the front for activating the type of segment to be pressed.
After adding the adhesive to the joint and placing it in the receptacle inside the segment, the grab is positioned on the segment and the pneumatic cylinders are activated. These cylinders exert pressure on the entire surface of the joint to guarantee even fastening to the segment.
